Barclays Staff Windfall
More than 400 Barclays employees will get a windfall of more than £850000 from the sale of Barclays Global Investors, the bank’s fund management business, to BlackRock for $13.5 billion. Bob Diamond, the bank’s president, will get £22 million from the sale of the subsidiary.
