It is already in the era of information now. Due to the fast development of computer science and communication technology, people in the modern society are available to get access to a whole range of information. Great convenience has been brought forwards as a result.
Increasing number of people become heavily relied on searching for relevant information on-line before making their own judgement on an controversial issue. However, large amount of information is not always helpful. Too much information could be make people very confusing at the same time.
For example, there have always been very heated debates over all kinds of political controversy in the media. Usually, there are people with very strong feelings on different sides of the argument over various kinds of historical issues. However, it is hard for the public mass to get the unbiased information and facts about the vast complex of disputed cultural, Religious and Social controversies. The news about “Industrialization” or “Collectivization” policies in different Communist governments, such as Northern Caucasus, Volga Region, South Urals, West Siberia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, always get misrepresent in Capitalist countries.
For example, most reports about the holodomor or Golodomor in the Soviet Union, which is currently in economic transformation, are greatly distorted.
