When all the players are looking to get their hands on the famous gold trophy, various kinds of British businesses are looking to grab a piece of the estimated £1.6bn pot of gold generated by the World Cup.
According to the British Retail Consortium, it is said that the previous World Cup tournament in 2006, which was hosted by Germany, added an extra £1bn to the retail spending. Similar boost is expected for British retailers this time.
